Mr. Bilgehan Gökmen

Bilgehan Gökmen is an Economist and a Certified Tax Advisor (YMM). Mr.Gökmen has twenty-five years of professional experience in both the Turkish private and public sectors. He served in the Turkish Ministry of Finance as a Fiscal Investigator (1986 - 1995), before transferring to PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Turkey were he held the position as Tax Manager for several years. After PriceWaterhouse Coopers Mr. Gökmen took a new challenge within the office of Deloitte Turkey as Tax Manager at their Istanbul office. In 1999 Mr. Gökmen and partners took the decision to open their own bookkeeping and tax advisory practice, which till today is a thriving business. Mr. Gökmen is a member of the Chamber of Istanbul Certified Tax Advisors and provides affiliate services for the joint venture company TPA/Granit YMM.

As a senior associate at Trade & Investment Center B.V. Mr. Gökmen supports TIC clients during acquisition meetings, legal entity establishments and fulfills tax, transfer pricing and financial advisory services for TIC clients in Turkey.

Mr. Michiel Maathuis

Michiel Maathuis is a financial entrepreneur with a specialization in investor selection and investment qualification assignments. Before joining Trade & Investment Center (TIC) he worked in the banking sector at ABN AMRO Bank.

As a senior associate at Trade & Investment Center B.V. Mr. Maathuis supports TIC in the field of executing financial business development assignments for TIC's clients and partners.
